European Folk Day – September the 23rd
Directed by Stefano Saletti the “Festival Popolare italiano” takes place at the Museo Nazionale degli Strumenti Musicali and the Teatro Villa Pamphilj in Rome. The festival introduces the variety of sounds, instruments and styles that have always characterized folk, ethnic and world music. Sounds and stories those represent a heritage to be handed down and rediscovered not to lose the musical memory, the true identifying element of a community. During the various editions some of the most important artists of the Italian scene performed. For the European Folk Day there will be a special concert by Stefano Saletti together with the many musicians with whom he has been collaborating for years. A great evening of world, folk and popular music.
