European Folk Day – September the 23rd
On the occasion of the European Folk Day we will premiere a wonderful musical memory of the last Summer: a song from Arguvan (Malatya). It is about the separation between two lovers. The title means “Yellow Flower”. The song is from the point of view of the man. He talks about the nature and uses very symbolic and poetic lyrics. It was recorded during the Festival Polirítmia, organised by the Valencian Institute of Culture under the artistic direction of Rafel Arnal. The video recording and edition was made by Carles Desfilis.
I hope you’ll enjoy this little tribute for the European Folk Day sent from Turkey.
