DESCRIPTION:Welcome everybody to our first Sunday ball !\nQuai 33 is a new folk dance venue with parquet floor\,\nright across the train station of Genval (20 minutes from Brussels and from Ottignies). \n18:30 Doors open\nThis will be a chance to arrive at a leisurely pace\, stock the buffet with drinks and/or snacks\, and get to know a few people while chatting. \nFolk ball with Julie Febvre (chromatic accordion)\nJulie has degrees in musicology and saxophone\, with theater training on the side. Since she was young\, she has cultivated a passion for the accordion\, her signature instrument\, which she masters self-taught and incorporates into her artistic projects.\nCome discover this new talent\, recently arrived in Belgium\, and her ball\, which combines compositions and arrangements inspired by neo-folk and Balkan music.\nLet’s mix it ! \nEverybody welcome\, with or without dance experience or dance partner.\nIf necessary\, Elena will explain one or two dances. \nShared buffet\nEveryone brings snacks (without plates or cutlery)\, and drinks to share. There are cups on site\, nothing else.\nThere’s a night shop right next door for your last-minute shopping! \nPlease note: we sell no drinks\, there are only the drinks you bring. \nJam session welcome at the end of the dance\nBring your musical instruments\, your voice\, your percussion instruments… \nFinancial participation\nNo reservations\nPlease contribute by the hat\, ideally around €10 per person.
