Pennine Folk Club – European Folk Day Celebration

Pennine Folk Club is delighted to be taking part in European Folk Day 2026 with our regular monthly acoustic folk session in the heart of the Pennines in Yorkshire, England.

Our friendly, informal sessions welcome singers, musicians and listeners alike, from experienced performers to complete beginners. There is no obligation to perform – everyone is welcome simply to come along, listen and enjoy the music and good company.

Our September meeting will feature a special guest spot from Hilary Spencer, alongside songs and tunes from our regular performers and visitors.

Join us at Stocksmoor Village Hall on Sunday 20 September from 1.30pm to 4.30pm as our little corner of Yorkshire joins folk communities across Europe in celebrating the music and traditions that bring people together.
