Courses and Concert at Fjelljomfestivalen
This year’s Fjelljom Festival offers workshops in fiddle, Hardanger fiddle, accordion, harmonica, folk dance, and traditional singing.
The workshops are divided into two sessions. The first runs from 11:00 to 14:00, followed by a generous break before the afternoon session from 15:00 to approximately 18:00.
Once again, the festival has received support from TØFT and Frifond for courses aimed at young performers. Everyone within the TØFT age group is especially encouraged to attend, but all courses are open to participants of all ages.

Dinner for all participants
For everyone within the TØFT age group (9–20 years), dinner is included in the course fee.

- NOK 150 for participants over 20 years of age

Participants in the TØFT age group, and others attending the morning instrumental courses, are encouraged to continue after lunch by joining either the folk singing or dance workshops, or, where appropriate, one of the advanced courses.
Evening Concert and Dance
20:00 – Concert at Fjellvarden
The evening concert will include:
- Presentation of the Bolstad Prize
- A tribute to Svein Nesje, who was awarded the King’s Medal of Merit this summer
- Performances by Åsmund Arnesen Farstad, Britt Pernille Frøholm, Håvard Svendsrud, and others
Following the concert, there will be social dancing with music provided by Austrheim Musikklag, Spelemannslaget Fjelljom, and other performers.
