Alexander Mihaylov and his PATARDIA – ALBUM PROMO / CLUB PAVE / 23.09 /// Александър Михайлов и неговата Патърдия – ПРОМО АЛБУМ / КЛУБ ПАВЕ / 23.09

Hello, friends!

The long-awaited moment has finally arrived — the release of our second studio album!

And hardly anyone will be surprised by its name — “GYURULTIA”.

True to our style, this time we will once again blend our favorite genres with the ethno-jazz sound of Alexander Mihaylov’s kaval. A sound shaped through the prism of drummer Viktor Radanov, grounded by the deep bass of Samuil Daskalov, beautifully embraced by the harmonies of Ilko Gradev, and enriched by the playful rhythms of Georgi Popov.

The quintet was formed in 2023 during the recording of Alexander Mihaylov’s debut album, “Patardia.” The kaval player’s original compositions are built around the meeting of different musical worlds — much like the word “patardia” itself, which means not only noise and commotion, but also a mixture of diverse sounds. The kaval takes center stage in music that moves from gentle and lyrical moments to lively grooves, complex rhythms, and free improvisation.

Alexander Mihaylov and his “Patardia” present their second studio album — “GYURULTIA”!

We look forward to seeing you on September 23 at Club PAVE 🥳
