Global Village Celebrates European Folk Day

Global Village, the acclaimed syndicated world music show, will celebrate European Folk Day with a show devoted to European folk music and artists from across the continent, from classic recordings to contemporary releases, and traditional performers to artists offering a new take on old forms.

Global Village is an eclectic world music-based show. It features the latest and best in world music classics and new releases along with a wide variety of artists and selections from nearly all other genres of music that incorporate influences from around the world in their work. Traditional and contemporary European Folk has long been a regular part of Global Village  programming, and we are delighted to be able to join in the celebration of this music.

An award-winning show syndicated since 2010 and airing five days a week, Global Village has aired to date on over 500 stations and is heard on radio stations in 46 US states (along with a number of European nations via internet outlets).
