Youthful and exuberant – that is what the international musical heritage concert “River Pearls” promises to be.

For the third time, the European Folk Day concert “River Pearls” invites everyone interested to discover and delight in outstanding performances by folk groups of Latvia and other countries. The concert’s participants can be characterized by the diversity of their traditions and masterful, knowledge-based performances.

The concert will feature the family folk studio “Garataka” youth group, the Latgalian folk group “Ceidari”, the project “The Baltic Sisters”, and the Sicilian group “Quartetto Areasud”.

​In capable hands, traditions collected over centuries can shine twice as bright; we just have to notice and put in the effort to bring them out into the sun!
