On September 23rd Lucy Khanyan’s Avant-Garde Folk Quintet will perform their original compositions within Yerevan Music Week to celebrate European Folk Day.
Lucy Khanyan Quintet is an avant-garde folk project founded and led by pianist and composer Lucy Khanyan in 2017. This all-female ensemble is a rare and powerful voice in the Armenian music scene, uniting five exceptional female musicians who bring their distinct artistry to a blend of Armenian folk, avant-garde composition, jazz and world music.
